Project Partners is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician based in or around Rugby, Warwickshire, to join a fun and reliable team. This is a long-term opportunity for someone looking to contribute to plant reliability and safety while ensuring high standards of mechanical maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Ensure the delivery of a safe mechanical environment, preventing harm to employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Cultural Development: Foster a culture of safety and teamwork within the Mechanical Maintenance team.
- Maintenance Planning: Collaborate with planning and reliability departments to ensure proper parts, labor, and equipment are available for maintenance tasks.
- Mechanical Maintenance Execution: Efficiently execute daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance plans within designated areas, and perform preventive maintenance to avoid unplanned stoppages.
- Shutdown Maintenance: Provide support during shutdown plans to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs.
- Performance Monitoring: Contribute to mechanical performance goals and reliability targets to ensure plant efficiency and adherence to standards.
- Team Collaboration: Build strong relationships with the maintenance team, engineers, and other departments to improve plant performance.

Additional Shifts:
The role also involves a late shift on a 1 in 9-week rotation:
- Mon-Thurs: 2pm – 10pm
- Fri: 2pm – 9pm
- On-call: After 10pm and weekend work.
