Mechanical Technician

Description:

Several Mechanical Maintenance Technicians are wanted permanently by a global client of ours. The successful candidate will carry out routine all Preventive and Corrective Maintenance tasks, ensuring they are all suitably planned, actioned, and carried out.

This is a permanent opportunity that includes a base salary of between £37,500 - £42,000 (dependent upon experience and qualifications) plus bonus, and benefits.

Overview of the Mechanical Maintenance Technician role:

• Proactively respond to site breakdowns and make competent decisions and effective solutions in line with the safe systems of work.
• Ensure all reactive and corrective work orders are carried out, evidenced, and actively closed out within CMMS and their response date.
• Support the safe and reliable operations of the company’s terminals.

Key skills and qualifications required for the Mechanical Maintenance Technician role:

• Possess a relevant Mechanical qualification and apprenticeship
• Have prior experience working on Top Tier COMAH facilities.
• Previous experience in performing maintenance on rotating & and fixed mechanical equipment.
