Link365 Limited, an established Mechanical Contractor based in Loughton, London, is seeking Mechanical Site Managers. Our projects are located in London, Birmingham, and the Midlands, primarily within the residential market including both new-build and refurbishment works. Project sizes range from 30 to 850 units, encompassing heating, air-conditioning, ventilation, hot and cold water services, drainage, sprinklers, and gas supplies. We are looking for Mechanical Site Managers with at least two years of experience managing or assisting in the delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will be eager to advance their career within the Mechanical Building Services sector.
Site Manager Main Duties:
- Manage projects valued from £500K to £8M while adhering to financial and project constraints.
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical works on-site, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with specifications.
- Oversee mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression systems.
- Coordinate daily operations with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team.
- Liaise with clients and design teams, providing updates and addressing issues as they arise.
- Ensure all mechanical works are completed on time and within scope.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Support valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Conduct toolbox talks with subcontractors.
- Perform additional duties as directed by management.
Site Manager Ideal Skills and Experience:
- At least two years of site management experience as lead or assistant, with exposure to heating, air-conditioning, ventilation, hot and cold water services, drainage, sprinklers, and gas supplies.
- Ability to work effectively within a team or independently with minimal supervision.
- Mechanical Building Services qualifications.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and plans.
- Strong communication skills at all levels.
- SMSTS or SSSTS and CSCS accreditation.
- Analytical ability to review drawings and specifications.
- Some CAD experience (preferred but not essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- First Aid certification.
