Mechanical Project Engineer

 

Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in resolving design and manufacturing deviations (TQ's, concessions, etc.)
  • Support and review design, manufacturing, and test documentation
  • Oversee manufacturing and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
  • Review and support document preparation (O&M manuals, detailed design documentation, etc.)
  • Support the CE Marking process with suppliers
  • Track and implement Technical Queries in the design
  • Coordinate with the Package Manager to prioritize design deliverables
  • Collaborate with on-site Supply Chain Engineering Management to facilitate supplier engineering delivery
  • Liaise with AWE Technical Authorities for design reviews and deliverable verification
  • Aid supplier construction teams with engineering challenges and bottlenecks
  • Familiarize yourself with the scope and quality requirements of the doors project
  • Effectively communicate technical information to various audiences

 

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding and experience in managing engineering requirements
  • Self-starter with the ability to resolve technical deviations and issues
  • Collaborative work style with the client
  • Previous on-site experience in project delivery
  • SC Clearance required (capable of gaining DV)
  • Encourages innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable with client interactions for communications and reporting
  • Holds an ICE/IMechE accredited degree
  • Incorporated/Chartered Membership of ICE/IMechE (or working towards it) is desirable
