An Outstanding Secondary School in the heart of Brent is looking to appoint a Maths Teacher / Maths ECT for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent and full-time opportunity for passionate educators eager to make an impact in a thriving department.

The Maths Department is expanding, and the Head Teacher is searching for an ambitious and dedicated individual who can bring energy, innovation, and high standards to the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths instruction across KS3–KS5

  • Inspire and engage students with creative teaching methods

  • Collaborate with a team of experienced Maths professionals

  • Contribute to departmental planning and assessment

  • Take on TLR roles (e.g. KS3 Coordinator or Pastoral Leadership) if applicable

Person Specification:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or in the process of obtaining it

  • Strong academic background in Mathematics and related qualifications

  • Must meet at least a ‘Good’ standard in the 8 Teaching Standards

  • Team player with a willingness to take feedback and grow professionally
