Marketing & Social Media Executive

The role of social media manager will mainly revolve around working with the team to create a social media strategy for 2024 and helping with content creation (through Canva or other media, for our Instagram, twitter & LinkedIn accounts) in relation to that strategy.

You can be supported by this through our team of volunteers who help us run social media. Aside from those, the role can be developed in any direction that would work for you!

Expanding your responsibilities, coming up with new ideas on how to best promote 9Trees and coordinating with the team to achieve that would be beneficial as well.

The role is for 8 hours/week, however there is potential for the hours to grow based on performance and budget availability.

The role will be pro-bono for the first month.

Main duties / responsibilities include

• Work with the team to create a marketing plan that best promotes 9Trees
• Help in content creation for our social media accounts
• Coordinate with the Business Development Manager to ensure our partners are satisfied with our posts related to them
• Coordinate social media volunteers and assign them appropriate tasks

• Experience creating social media content through Canva or other platforms
