Marketing & Sales Assistant

 

Description:

A leading UK manufacturer of access management products, catering to both domestic and international markets, is seeking an experienced Marketing & Sales Assistant. This role will play a vital part in supporting the growth and development of the company’s sales and marketing strategies, particularly in the access management sector. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Head of Sales and other departments to drive marketing campaigns, sales support, and event management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Management:

    • Plan, manage, and execute trade shows, exhibitions, and client events to showcase access management products.
    • Organise product demonstrations and training sessions for clients and distributors.
    • Oversee all event logistics, including shipping equipment, managing promotional materials, and ensuring smooth venue arrangements.
  • Market and Sales Data Analysis:

    • Conduct in-depth research on UK and export markets to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities in the access management sector.
    • Prepare detailed sales and market performance reports for management’s review.
    • Assist in supporting pricing strategies through competitor activity analysis and assessing market demands.
  • Social Media and Digital Marketing:

    • Manage and create content for social media platforms to enhance B2B engagement and drive lead generation.
    • Collaborate with the team to develop and execute email marketing campaigns, update the company website, and create digital brochures.
    • Track and report on digital marketing performance, offering strategies for growth in both domestic and international markets.
  • Sales Support:

    • Assist the sales team in preparing client proposals, quotations, and tenders, ensuring that they meet specific client requirements.
    • Maintain and update the company’s CRM system, tracking accurate customer data, leads, and sales activities.
    • Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of export orders.
  • Marketing Campaigns and Branding:

    • Create promotional materials that effectively highlight the company's product range and unique selling points.
    • Support branding initiatives to maintain the company’s position as a market leader in the access management sector.
    • Coordinate product launches and ensure consistent communication of branding messages across all marketing channels.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience in B2B marketing, ideally within manufacturing or access management products.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, digital marketing platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both domestic and international markets.
  • Knowledge of export market requirements is a plus.
