JCB got where it is today because of teamwork, which is reflected in our unique take on construction and agricultural equipment. As Marketing Manager – Export Europe, you’ll play a key role in that team, helping develop on-brand marketing campaigns that are every bit as innovative as our machines.

Key responsibilities as a Marketing Manager – Export Europe:

Fundamentally, you’ll be supporting some of our key sales regions and distribution network achieve their share of our ambitious 5-year growth plan. You’ll be responsible for developing strategy and delivering brand communications across our European Export markets, working closely with our distribution partners to ensure our messages reach the right customers at the right time. As part of a team, you will work alongside other marketing professionals to create inspiring briefs that help conceive ideas as innovative as our products.

You will collaborate with product and marketing specialists, gaining an understanding of our unique and diverse machines and customers. Working alongside creative, communications, digital marketing and events teams, you will bring your ideas to life and ensure the JCB voice is heard on channels that matter to our customers. You will work closely with our regional distribution partners to develop the JCB brand and communication strategies to help drive measurable sales targets.

Another key responsibility will be supporting the JCB road to zero and gaining an insight into our electric and newly emerging fuel technologies. Within our industry, we are leading the way in this and with your help, we can continue to do so.

About you:

 

  • Ideally you will have demonstrable B2B marketing experience and whilst a marketing degree is preferred, we would still love to hear from you if you think you’d be a great fit.
  • You will have experience of working across international markets and working with global marketing teams.
  • You will be highly creative, and able to understand local market requirements and influence both internal and external stakeholders into supporting your vision.
  • You will be responsible for creating, executing and measuring multi-channel marketing campaigns, blending digital & physical communications to create a powerful and enduring message.
  • Good communication skills are essential to work with all stakeholders in the business, from product directors to apprentices. You will also work closely with your regional counterparts and take campaigns and communications across the globe.
  • Having a commercial mindset is a given, as you’ll be keeping projects on budget and ensuring they are supporting our sales plans.
  • There will be an expectation to travel, spending time on the ground across our Export European markets, closely supporting distribution partners to execute your marketing plan.
