Marketing Content Manager to join their award-winning team. This role sits within the Marketing and Business Development team, whose focus in on helping the firm's expert Partners and other lawyers to build their brand, communicate persuasively, win business and develop client relationships. Keeping abreast of new developments in the world of content marketing and contributing ideas and new approaches, the role holder will be expected to deliver unignorable, persuasive and, ultimately, effective marketing content and propositions. You will be responsible for overhauling the firm's web pages and accompanying web and social content to boost their SEO and help to sell their services, to tell the firm's story with higher impact and to stimulate client conversations. The Marketing Content Manager will enjoy excellent hybrid working arrangements and a hands-on role, contributing actively to message development and content writing, but also one with lots of collaboration with the firm's Partners, Senior Marketing Managers, Business Development professionals, internal web publishers and designers. Bringing your own creative ideas to the table to help differentiate the firm’s brand and make web pages and content stand out from the crowd, you will work alongside partners and business development professionals to identify persuasive sales messages for a sequence of service lines, legal practices and other parts of our firm, including Diversity Equity & Inclusion and Corporate Social responsibility. You will use both your own writing skills and occasionally work alongside a copywriter, to convert sales messages into compelling pages on the firm’s website and develop accompanying case studies and other content to bring sales messages to life, advising the firm on keywording and other techniques to boost the ranking potential of their web pages on search engines. Working with the internal digital and design team to publish pages and content, suggesting ways to add visual impact and boost engagement, will represent an important element of the role. The successful applicant will need to recommend 'calls to action' and opportunities to optimise the performance of web pages and content and in cases where current web pages and content are under-performing, pro-actively suggest plans to improve or remove that content. An enthusiastic, can-do, team player, you will have strong experience working in a B2B setting, whether client-side or agency-side. Some experience in Professional Services, Financial Services, Real Estate or Technology, would be desirable, but is not essential. The Marketing Content Manager must be able to help the firm convey sales messages in a distinctive, persuasive, visually impactful and client-centric way. Sales nous, commerciality, strong writing skills and a design eye are essential. The role will be copywriting heavy, so you must be confident in your ability to write persuasively and in plain English in a way that will appeal to senior business Executives. The ideal candidate will be able to work with internal designers and specialist agencies to produce videos and infographics and be familiar with different content marketing techniques and formats and also with the basic tenets of content marketing and Search Engine Optimisation, including the completion of keyword analysis.
