As a Marketing Content Lead at Komment, you will play a pivotal role in elevating our brand outreach and user experience. This is a tactical hands-on role. You will spend the majority of your time on content creation. A strong writing discipline is crucial for success in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Content Creation: Develop and produce a wide range of content, including articles, blog posts, social media updates, how-to guides, and videos, ensuring they align with the company's brand voice and objectives.
- Understanding Target Market: Gain in-depth insights into our target market's preferences, challenges and behaviors, and tailor compelling content that addresses their specific needs, interests, and pain points.
- Content Strategy: Craft a comprehensive content strategy around the most relevant and valuable topics for our users, determining the most effective content mix and distribution channels to keep our audience engaged.
- SEO Optimization: Optimize all content for search engines to improve reach and visibility, using SEO best practices including keyword research, meta tags, and content structuring.
- Editorial Leadership: Oversee the content calendar, managing deadlines and workflows, while maintaining consistent quality and brand alignment across all content outputs.
- Audience Engagement: Engage with the community across various platforms, responding to comments and feedback, and adapting content based on audience interaction and trends.
- Monitor Trends: Stay up-to-date with content trends, digital media developments, and competitor strategies, and continuously explore new ideas and technologies to enhance content effectiveness.
- Analytics and Reporting: Regularly report on the performance of content marketing activities, using analytics tools to gauge user engagement and content effectiveness, and making data-driven adjustments to strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong experience in content creation and management, preferably within the tech industry.
- Excellent writing and editorial skills, as demonstrated by a rich portfolio of blog posts, technical articles, social media content, or other relevant publications.
- A creative mindset with a knack for generating fresh and engaging content ideas that resonates with a target market.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively convey ideas, and connect with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to build strong communities from scratch, fostering engagement and collaboration among users via content.
- Acumen to independently manage projects and deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency.
