Marketing Compliance Manager

Description:

We are looking for a Marketing Compliance Manager who will support the marketing compliance function as part of the wider Advisory Compliance team.

You will be keen to develop the role to provide technical and advisory support on all regulatory and strategic matters relating to marketing and financial promotion, supporting the Sales and Marketing activities of Aviva Investors. Within this role you will provide technical and advisory support to the business on all matters related to the distribution of products (funds and mandates), principally in the UK retail space. You will be responsible for day-to-day regulatory input on marketing materials (targeting retail and institutional audiences) in the UK including overseeing content, the self-certification programme, volumes, and MI whilst providing training to applicable Aviva Investors staff as and when required relating to ongoing expected standards relating to product, distribution, marketing, and financial promotions. The successful candidate will support on the development and maintenance of policies relating to marketing and distribution (e.g., marketing Approvals Policy, social media Policy).

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Experience of engaging with senior stakeholders on complex regulatory issues.
• Financial promotion compliance experience covering UK or European collective investment schemes acquired ideally in an asset management firm.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the FCA’s Consumer Duty regime
• An excellent understanding of the current regulatory environment relating to ESG (in the UK and EU), and a willingness to further develop this understanding.
• Knowledge of Compliance leading practice within the asset management industry relating to conduct of business requirements, conduct risks and controls.
