Description:
As a Marketing and Community Building Intern at Cordon, you’ll have the opportunity to dive into various aspects of marketing, from social media and digital campaigns to community engagement initiatives. You’ll play a vital role in building and nurturing our community of farmers, tech enthusiasts, and sustainability advocates, helping to spread the word about our mission and products.
This is primarily an on-site role due to the nature of the work however there is the opportunity for some hybrid work.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns that effectively communicate Cordon’s vision and product offerings.
- Contribute to social media management and content creation, engaging with our community across platforms to build brand awareness and loyalty.
- Support event planning and execution, including webinars, workshops, and community outreach programs, to foster a strong sense of community and collaboration.
- Support leadership in formalising partnerships with key stakeholders and potential pilots.
- Gather and analyse marketing data (campaign results, traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with the team to create promotional materials and ensure consistency in our brand messaging.

We're looking for someone who:

- Is currently pursuing or has recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Business Administration or a related field.
- Demonstrates strong organisational and communication skills.
- Shows a keen interest in the startup ecosystem and sustainable technologies, particularly in the agri-tech sector.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to create engaging content.
- Shows proficiency with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Is creative, proactive, and eager to take on new challenges.
- Has Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
