Marketing & Bd Manager

Description:

An experienced Marketing & Business Development Manager is required to join an award-winning UK law firm based in their London office to provide high quality support to their Personal Injury & Medical Negligence teams. For the right individual this is a first class opportunity to join a firm and a department with an excellent external reputation, a cohesive and supportive internal structure and a track record of financial profitability. You will enjoy a broad and varied role, reporting to the Heads of Personal Injury & Medical Negligence, and will be responsible for helping legal teams develop business and build relationships with existing and potential clients. You will be heavily involved in business planning, developing and implementing strategic campaigns, pipeline generation and relationship management. The role holder will also be tasked with a broad range of marketing activities, working in collaboration with the firm’s Marketing Department to enhance the firm’s reputation and standing. Key duties will include delivering the Personal Injury & Medical Negligence Events Calendar and attending networking events, copywriting effective internal and external communications and brand messaging, maximising the ROI from the firm’s website and managing the digital distribution of newsletters, press releases and social media posts. Coordinating Chambers and Legal 500 directories submissions will also represent a key area of focus for the Marketing & Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will possess relevant business development and marketing experience working within a professional services organisation, ideally in another law firm, to include demonstrable success in project and change management and effective use of social media. With high attention to detail, solid copywriting and communication skills and sound networking and persuasion skills, the Marketing & Business Development Manager will deploy judgment-based decision-making and analytical problem-solving and will enjoy juggling multiple tasks and delivering high quality work whilst working under pressure. Previous experience working within personal injury or medical negligence will also be highly advantageous. Leighton Taylor promotes diversity, equality and fair treatment in all aspects of our work.
