Description:
Primarily focussed on maintaining website content and website administration, this role also provides important support for wider marketing and communications activities across the department, including general administration.
This is an exciting role for an individual with a passion or emerging interest in digital, and a strong desire to learn, create and contribute.
The successful candidate will have a degree level education or equivalent experience. They will also have excellent attention to detail, spelling and grammar, with experience of some copywriting, in particular writing for the web.
With strong interpersonal and organisational skills, they will have a flexible, ‘can-do’ attitude and be able to work on their own initiative, providing a prompt and supportive service to all colleagues.
They should have some administrative, data inputting and marketing and communications experience. In addition to experience updating a website using a CMS, they will ideally have a basic understanding of the principles of SEO, website accessibility and user experience as well as some experience of Google Analytics or other web reporting.
