Managing Director

My Client is looking for a Managing Director to join and lead the team.

The incumbent will be responsible for managing the company to maximise the financial, commercial and operational performance of the organisation and set the company up for continues growth.

The Managing Director will have a local management team reporting into him: Finance, Operations, Sales and Marketing, and Engineering.

A technical degree is required, as well as experience in Operations and Business Development. Applicants must possess a dynamic and application driven approach to the sales process and the drive to achieve ambitious growth goals.

The Managing Director must inspire the organisation to be customer focussed to attain top line revenue growth and improve profitability.

Ideally the Managing Director / CEO has experience with Camera Technology / Detector Systems.

20-30% travel is expected.

Qualifications
 

• Educated to Degree Level in a technical subject (Imaging, Engineering or Material Science)
   

MBA

Experience
 

• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing management or similar industry
• Sales of technical equipment
• Export Control
• Ideally the Managing Director / CEO has experience with Camera Technology / Detector Systems.
• A proven record as a team player who has the ability and confidence to work on own initiative and independently when needed
• Ability to train, develop, motivate and manage teams
• Experience in xray and detection technology
• Experiences with significant operations improvements and revenue growth
