Managing Director

 

Description:

The Annalect UK Managing Director is a critical role that will work in close partnership with the OMG UK CEO, CDO, Global and EMEA Annalect teams to drive our data and tech strategy and delivery.

We are looking for an experienced leader with a real bias for action to provide thought leadership, strategic input, and team leadership to place data and tech at the centre of our client proposition and to influence the creation of a data driven culture across OMG UK.

Leadership
 

  • Lead the development and building of our data, tech, and analytics capabilities across our specialists, supporting a data driven culture and data savviness across OMG UK.
  • Lead and execute our UK data, tech, and analytics strategy to ensure we make most of the right partnerships and optimise the quality of the data we can access to be able to plan, evaluate, and execute our clients’ strategies.
  • Build and manage the Annalect data, tech, and analytics community across OMG UK.
  • Facilitate the sharing of expertise and best practices across markets - especially the identification of innovative tools and approaches that have the potential to be scaled across OMG UK agencies and other markets.
     

Strategy
 

  • Establish yourself as a key thought leader/contributor to the OMG board in terms of data, tech, and analytics and shape future data, tech and analytics plans for OMG UK.
  • Maintain awareness of market and competitor insights and activities relating to their data, tech, and analytics offerings to help OMG UK react accordingly.
  • Agencies & Clients
  • Be an active contributor to the OMG UK client agenda through both the contribution of our Omni story and unique data and tech capabilities in new business pitches, strategic client accounts and through leading the implementation of client data and tech strategies.
  • Support agency teams to grow client usage of Annalect products and services.
  • Consult on and contribute to the plans for OMG UK clients' brands to optimise how they leverage our data, tech, and analytics capabilities.
     

Commercial Delivery
 

  • Driving and delivering the revenue associated with the Annalect products and services.
  • Evolving and selling the UK and Global Annalect roadmap of products.
  • Manage the UK implementation of Annalect’s global data, tech, and analytics strategy.
  • Form partnerships within our group-wide data and technology teams, legal & compliance experts, and relevant commercial partners to ensure that we deliver the best possible data and tech enabled services to our clients.
  • Work with Annalect’s global Head of Partnerships to help ensure that new data partner acquisitions or data partnerships can be fully leveraged in the UK’s products and client solutions.
     

This role will be ideal for you if you have:
 

  • Proven experience of leading an organisational data, tech, and analytics agenda within a matrixed agency environment.
  • A track record of influencing change and buy in across multiple stakeholder groups so that data, tech, and analytics become the binding force in our client strategies.
  • Experience of working with global and local market client organisations and creating bespoke data, tech and analytics solutions appropriate for their needs.
  • Outstanding project management ability, across a portfolio of diverse data, tech and analytics led projects, the ability to keep complex projects on track, with the agility and flexibility to manages changes and adaptations that inevitably occur in a highly innovative and fast-moving environment.
  • An in depth understanding of big data and tech systems/platforms and analytics techniques with the ability to simplify these concepts to create understanding among non experts.
  • An outstanding track record of being able to move an idea effectively and rapidly from concept, to prototype to proof of concept, an ability to identify those ideas that are viable and will result in the support and buy in from senior client stakeholders.
  • A collaborator and influencer, a team player who can align with the Annalect global strategy and bring this to life in a relevant, credible and value enhancing way for OMG UK
  • A highly commercial individual who is passionate about our OMG UK client agenda and able to leverage the potential of data to create unique consumer and brand, connections, insights, opportunities, and sources of competitive advantage.
  • Outstanding intellectual agility, excellent judgement, collaborative and sophisticated influencing skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate, educate, and influence with a clear and compelling message across diverse languages and culture.
  • A credible thought leader and ambassador able to represent OMG on the topics of data, tech, and analytics with a seat at the top table.
