Description:


As the Senior Engagement Manager, you will lead on identifying and delivering strategic campaigns to increase confident usage of the Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) team’s products and services and build advocates for DDaT’s values and ways of working.

Working in a small team you will report to the Head of Engagement and Strategic Adoption and have direct line management responsibility. Here you will constantly be driven to measure results and implement improvements, while inspiring the team to have an eye for what is new, fostering an innovative culture to approaching engagement and adoption.

This role is available in seven UK locations and can only be worked from within the UK, not overseas. Most DBT employees will be working a hybrid pattern, spending 2-3 days a week (pro rata) in the office on average. Changes to these working arrangements are available in certain circumstances but must be agreed with the vacancy manager and in line with the requirements of the role and can only be discussed with successful candidates. Travel to your primary office location will not be paid for by DBT, but costs for travel to an office which is not your main location will be covered.

Responsibilities

You will be an experienced Communications and Engagement professional who can:
 

  • Enable DDaT to effectively promote its products and services by identifying and delivering strategic adoption campaigns.
  • Use analytics and engagement measures to understand campaign successes and failures to implement continued improvement.
  • Drive a positive culture of digital, data and tech within DBT by growing our internal network of DDaT advocates at all seniorities around the world, identifying training and development opportunities and working with DDaT to deliver them.
  • Utilise new and existing communication channels to disseminate DDaT’s ‘good news stories’, engaging with the audience and instilling an understanding of DDaT’s ways of working
  • Drive enthusiasm in the team and in DDaT for our all-staff events.
  • Understand product marketing tactics and methodologies to influence strategic decision-making during adoption and engagement prioritisation.
  • Line management responsibility.
     

Essential Skills And Experience
 

  • You will need to have demonstrable skills and experience of:
  • Comfortable working autonomously in an agile and fast paced environment
  • Confident supporting change and encouraging engagement within and outside of DBT DDaT
  • Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly organised and able to juggle multiple projects
     

Desirable Skills And Experience

These are not necessary but would be ideal if you:
 

  • Work in the digital, data and technology area
  • Product adoption, comms and/or product marketing experience
  • Events experience
