The idea of Immersify Education was established in 2019 to address the problem that educational resources are outdated, expensive and discourage the engagement of students.
Our solution bridges the gap between theoretical and practical learning by utilising augmented reality and interactive animation, 3D modelling, gamification and personalisation.
The benefit of this over traditional materials is that it facilitates students with different learning styles, the content can be personalised and gamified and the concise information is more suited to the present generation of learner.
Immersify Education is quickly scaling and innovating in the EdTech space, growing a variety of customer segments and creating opportunities to scale.
In line with this, Immersify Education is recruiting a Manchester-based B2B business development manager/sales representative to help us expand our pipeline and secure sales. We operate in a global market with multiple different sales channels giving stacks of opportunity to smash targets and earn commission.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. This will be predominantly a remote role with a requirement to work at least one day at our Manchester-based offices.
We are looking for a proactive individual, someone who doesn’t shy away from picking up the phone, is confident to close sales and keen to learn… Is this you?
Responsibilities
· Contacting potential clients to establish rapport, demonstrate the Immersify solution, creating business opportunity through consultative exploratory approaches, engaging with higher education and corporate stakeholders, and closing sales.
· Researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities.
· Finding and developing new markets
· Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
· Discussing budgets, negotiating quotes, and creating proposals for clients.
Requirements
· Sales or related field or proven experience in sales with a particular strength in closing – minimum 2 years
· Ability to hit targets, including monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs
· Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
· Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM with a dedication to the sales process
· Ability to manage complex projects and multitask.
· Excellent organisational skills.
· Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
· Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
Desirable experience
· Background within dentistry/healthcare or SaaS sales is a plus
· Strong proven record of success in higher education
