As Arm Finance, our mission is to enable Arm Revenue and Profitability growth, short term to long term, in support of Arm’s strategy. Within Arm Finance, we have built the Corporate FP&A team; a niche team chartered with defining, deploying and improving best-in-class financial planning processes and systems across Arm. This new role is a critical addition to our Revenue Forecasting team which has sole focus on Revenue reporting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

This role is key to ensuring the end to end success of Arm's Revenue forecasting processes, from initial planning to board presentation and continuous improvement. You will be expected to collaborate with a wide range of partners in order to build robust and well understood revenue forecasts.

Consolidate Revenue reports, models, and databases (including CRM and financial systems of record). Preparing management and executive level reporting packages (monthly executive meetings, quarter-end close and quarterly forecasting cycles)

Run analysis for senior management and other partners, presenting key insights, recommendations and calls to action. Establish process and methodology to consistently test probability of possible range of outcomes.

Work closely with the Global Sales Organisation on deal level Bookings forecasts. Help capture and highlight confidence levels to determine optionality and guide management decision making.

Drive alignment of Licensing Revenue forecasts (including new deals and backlog). Working closely with relevant partners to drive and report accurate assessments of Revenue profiles.

Continuously drive improvements to tools; developing, implementing, and maintaining robust models and methodologies specific to the components of Revenue (bookings, in-quarter yield, backlog, China)

Required Skills And Experience
 

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
  • Qualified accountant - preferably CIMA or ACCA.
  • Experience working in FP&A roles.
  • Ability to forge relationships and solve problems with a variety of collaborators.
  • Advanced abilities in Microsoft Excel.
     

“Nice To Have” Skills And Experience
 

  • Experience working with a Licensing and Royalty business model.
  • Knowledge of Revenue Recognition under IFRS-15/ASC-606 accounting standards.
  • Comfortable manipulating large volumes of data using Power Query or other techniques.
