Description:
As the Management Accountant you will play a pivotal role in integrating finance processes within the Group and ensuring the smooth running of operational finance activities while acting as number 2 to the Head of Finance.
This is a dynamic role offering exposure to all areas of the finance function including financial analysis and business partnering along side the opportunity to add value and contribute to the success of a growing business by driving efficiencies and supporting key business initiatives.
You will be offered an annual salary of up to £65,000 with the opportunity to progress and build a team as the Group continues to expand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review management accounts for multiple entities across various regions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports and provide insightful analyses.
- Conduct profitability analyses at the product level and provide actionable recommendations.
- Maintain accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and cost accounting procedures.
- Deliver timely and insightful reporting with variance and KPI analyses.
- Oversee insurance renewals and ensure compliance with group reporting deadlines and standards.
- Support with the system migration and assist in implementing an ERP System for improved process automation and control.
- Oversee payroll processing, VAT submissions, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Provide support and guidance to two team members.
- Collaborate in the preparation, monitoring, and updating of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Develop and implement systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness across finance operations.
- Partner with leadership to define and execute strategic business plans, ensuring alignment with Group standards.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in management accounting, ideally in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
- Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) and operational finance processes.
- Experience with systems migrations
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a hands-on approach to operational finance tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, capable of mentoring and guiding junior team members.
