You will be responsible for:

  • Managing production of monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet and cashflow, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements, and providing insightful analysis on variances
  • Working with Transformation CVL senior management (both internal and external stakeholders) to optimise performance
  • Managing production of budgets and forecasts
  • Supporting internal and external audit processes
  • Managing the reporting requirements of the client, providing support where necessary to Welsh Government
  • Delivery of the new business essentials model across the team, ensuring a joined-up approach between Finance, Commercial and Operations
  • Implementing best practice processes and exploiting the use of SAP for internal and external reporting.

  • Commercial awareness with the ability to deliver improvements in an operations environment
  • Ability to work towards strict deadlines with a high degree of quality and understanding
  • Strong Excel skills
  • High level of experience of month end close procedures;
  • High customer service focus to manage upwards to very senior levels
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
