Maintenance Manager

Description:

The role involves strategic planning and oversight of maintenance engineers’ tasks, with the objective of maximising machinery uptime and ensuring the availability of requisite services. The incumbent will direct operations to ensure optimal utilisation of labour, machinery, components, and materials, all within the confines of the agreed budget, while adhering to the highest industry standards.

The individual will bear responsibility and accountability for the effective and efficient deployment of maintenance resources. Responsibilities
 

• Management of Maintenance Personnel / Dept.
• Organizing and distribution of workloads.
• Manage and control of PPM Maintenance scheme.
• Set and Manage Maintenance budget.
• Arrange & control contractors.
• Issue, control and administer Work Permits.
• Functions as part of site management team.
• Manage all personnel holidays and absences.
• Audit preparation and communication to auditor.
• Carry out tasks charged by ISO, BRC, AIB or any other.
• Recruitment of personnel.
• Control and administration of pay.
• Continuous improvements of site, personnel, and equipment.
• Manage, organise and control all relevant paperwork e.g., safety and insurance.
• Continuous improvement focused, delivering projects that drive sustainable benefit to the organisation.
