Description:

MCC Engineer Tasks and Accountabilities

* MCC engineers serve as the focal point at the heart of the operation, empowered to make decisions and with clear escalation pathways to ensure continued operations.

* Reporting serviceability states of the forward fleet on a company and customer level via distributed status reports.

* Facilitating the recovery of AOG aircraft at MOB and Deployed.

* Collaborating with other AIOC team members to ensure quick and effective aircraft recovery, including Logistics, Fleet Tasking, Availability Management, and Short Term Planning.

* Logging and continuously monitoring the Minimum Operational & Safety Equipment List (MOSEL) and Acceptable Deferred Faults (ADF's) to ensure compliance with limitations and notify operational restrictions to FTAM.

* Maintaining communication with Pt.145 Line Supervisors regarding serviceability states and readiness levels at Main Operating Base (MOB).

* Monitoring the coordination and progress of aircraft, manpower, spares, and facilities for tasks accomplished by Part 145 maintenance organizations and scheduled accomplishment of routine maintenance tasks, providing escalation pathways for identified issues.

* Informing relevant stakeholders in the event of significant fleet changes or AOG situations and assisting with aircraft recovery through conference calls or 'Tiger Team' meetings.

* Enacting Business Continuity and RAF Crash and Disaster Plans in major incidents until relieved by a senior responsible person.

* Liaising with external resources, spares/tooling as necessary for fast, safe, and economic aircraft recovery and return to service.

* Providing RAF Stakeholders with timely updates on delays, tasking details, airframe swaps, or cancellations.

* Providing out-of-hours cover for raising in-service event reports (ISER's), notices to crew, Fleet Tasking prioritization, receiving Technical Queries, and requesting AMTAC technical assistance for Work Stop or AOG situations.

* Managing applications for Concessions rectification, interval extension, and aircraft cannibalization.

* Providing deployed operational status information via the Daily Ops Brief and the Daily Escalation Brief.

* Providing Daily Operational Priorities for Team Atlas.

* Briefing incoming shifts on ongoing, recently resolved, or imminent problems impacting operational fleet task lines.

* Providing required KPI data to REDACTED Senior Leadership Team (SLT) stakeholders.

* Maintaining competence levels in line with continued development activities of the organization and evolution of the aircraft.

Skills & Experience

* Ideally holding either an EASA PT.66 engineer's license or demonstrating relevant experience and competence. Knowledge of SFAR-88, EWIS, and Human Factors.

* Proficiency in using appropriate Communication and Information systems (Sharepoint, Q-Pulse, MDS, local databases, etc.).

* Knowledge of REDACTED systems and platforms is advantageous.

* Some military aviation experience is useful but not essential.
