Description:

The University of Warwick offers a varied role based at the Innovation Campus, Stratford Upon Avon. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will provide reactive and planned maintenance support to buildings, including statutory testing and repairs to electrical and mechanical systems and building fabric. This role involves carrying out essential, high-volume tasks to provide an outstanding customer service experience. You’ll assist Maintenance Technicians and specialist trades teams, offering the opportunity to learn and progress within your trade specialism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out building maintenance tasks across the campus
  • Provide maintenance support to electrical, mechanical, and building fabric systems
  • Assist in transporting materials, meeting contractors, and helping specialist trades
  • Carry out repetitive, lower-skilled tasks while ensuring high-quality customer service
  • Assist with a variety of building maintenance tasks, contributing to campus functionality

🔹 About You:

  • Practical experience in building maintenance
  • City & Guilds NVQ Level II in a relevant subject
  • Ability to learn from and assist experienced Maintenance Technicians
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of customer service
