SSEN Distribution is seeking skilled Low Voltage or High Voltage Electrical Construction Fitters to join their team across Southern England. As part of a trusted team, you will contribute to constructing electrical apparatus within substations on the electricity distribution network, ranging from 11kV to 132kV. This role offers autonomy, team collaboration, and the chance to impact safety and reliability across communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver construction projects in live electricity substation environments while adhering to operational safety rules and relevant legislation.
• Respond promptly to emergency fault scenarios.
• Install and commission new CT Metering apparatus.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by providing regular updates to customers.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Comprehensive knowledge of the electricity distribution network.
• Experience in live electricity substation environments.
• Expertise in technical areas such as wiring circuit breakers, installing CT/VT systems, and panel wiring modifications.
• Strong understanding of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM) and a high regard for safety practices.
• Clean UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively across the network area.
