Legal Credit Controller

Delighted to be recruiting one of the top law firms in the UK in recruiting a Credit Controller to join their high-performing Finance Division.

The firm also have a gym onsite and are based centrally near Chancery Lane Station on the Central Line.

Responsibilities and what we are looking for in a candidate:

• Chasing large debts across a large portfolio of clients
• Taking a lead in collections support and helping to ensure that a new software is designed correctly and implemented successfully into the firm #actively looking for ways to improve client average days to pay in line with our client segmentation
• excellent inter-personal communication skills (both written and verbal), demonstrating experience of liaising with clients, partners, fee-earners, secretaries and finance colleagues
• take ownership in resolving issues/queries around unpaid invoices – escalate where necessary, monitor progress and pursue until resolved
• produce regular reports on debt to identify issues for escalation
• support and mentor junior members of the team fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
• knowledge of Aderant and High Radius (or other collections software) advantageous
• Seeking someone with experience of working in a law firm or professional services environment with exposure to VAT disbursements and credit control
