Learning Advisor

Description:

At Janus Henderson, a leading investment management firm, we are looking for a skilled Learning Advisor to join our team. This pivotal role will support our learning function by ensuring training programs are engaging, organized, and run smoothly. You will handle a variety of responsibilities, from managing learning logistics to working with participants and vendors, ensuring that employees have access to valuable training and development opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, and excellent communication and organizational abilities. Experience in managing training logistics and records, as well as handling accounts receivable, will be key for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage enrolment in instructor-led programs and handle communication with participants and vendors

• Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS) in Success Factors

• Prepare and disseminate course materials, such as feedback forms and instructional notes

• Maintain training records and manage attendance dashboards

• Submit reports on training activities and results, recommending improvements to the learning program

• Manage the Professional Qualifications Program

• Act as the point of contact for vendors and participants, handling logistics for webinars, classrooms, and more

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work at a fast pace

• Previous experience managing training logistics and records

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Success Factors LMS and other Learning Management Systems

• Certificate in DISC or Insights Discovery

• Experience in organizing professional qualification programs

• Knowledge of financial processes related to accounts receivable and invoicing
