Lead Data Privacy Counsel

Description:

This position will lead the UK Data Privacy team and will be responsible for data privacy matters as well as leading on technology and innovation, including negotiating complex tech agreements and supporting the marketing team on digital matters.

You will work on cutting edge privacy matters and take the lead on advising the business on its obligations in relation to privacy, whilst also ensuring the business uses the data for its intended purpose. This is a business facing role where you will interact with senior stakeholders across the UK and the global business.

The role itself is extremely broad and will involve you working on BAU matters as well as non-BAU / project-based work whilst acting as the go-to person for all data privacy matters for this global luxury brand.

About You

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Data Privacy Lawyer to join a major player in the luxury sector.

In-house experience, ideally within the sector or a related sector, is ideal, although Data Privacy experience acting for consumer brands would also be relevant. Tech and digital experience will also be key.
