Due to this growth, they need a Lead Data Engineer to join – this is a senior role in the Belfast data function, and will play a key part in shaping the direction of the overall team.

You’ll ideally have the following skills and experience:

• Experienced in designing and deploying production data pipelines using Python, Scala, Spark, and SQL.
• Skilled in tasks like scripting, API-based data extraction, and writing SQL queries.
• Strong in data cleaning, wrangling, visualization, and reporting using the best tools and practices.
• Experienced in processing structured and unstructured data on AWS cloud.
• Skilled in ingestion, curation, and custom programming with AWS-native tools.
• Experienced in designing and building AWS cloud architectures, including PaaS and serverless technologies.
• Experienced in leading teams to design, build, and maintain large-scale data solutions.
