Description:
We are looking for an Account Manager – Laboratory for the London South/ East Region to join our ImmunoDiagnostics Division (IDD).
In this role you will be responsible for developing and efficiently implementing key account plans as part of a team, which will enable delivery of sustained growth across our Phadia™ allergy and autoimmunity business, you will report into the Head of Laboratory Sales UK, Netherlands & Ireland
What will you do?
As the Account Manager for the full IDD product portfolio in the London South/East Region your responsibilities will include:
- Maintain existing business and grow the Allergy & Autoimmune market as per agreed targets.
- Deliver on agreed company and individual metrics.
- Develop and successfully implement and maintain accurate and up to date account plans and customer details in SFDC alongside Marketing, Clinical and Technical Services team.
- Ensure all activities and meetings are logged in an accurate and timely manner within SFDC.
- To own and successfully negotiate Contracts (incl. Capital sales, Reagent Rentals) and Service Contracts are handled and led in a timely manner working alongside the Contracts & Tender and Tech Service team.
- Lead the Tender response on your territory and engage with primary MSPs (Managed Service Providers) and conduct site visits and business reviews on a regular basis.
- Actively participate in forecasting and planning activities applying TFD tools including but not limited to SFDC and Power BI.
- Support Cost Per Reportable (CPR) customers with onsite site stock checks
- Develop and engage with Key Opinion Leaders across your territory.
- Feedback market intelligence to Sales Manager, Marketing and Finance as required.
- Communicate effectively with all parts of the organization.
- Ensure compliance with internal Quality Processes and CRM (eg SFDC).
- Customer facing role with expectation that majority of time will be spent with customers face to face, travel 50-75%.
- Attend internal & external meetings and events as required.
How will you get there?
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Life Sciences e.g. Biomedical science
- Relevant Laboratory/Pathology Sales Experiences and/or product Portfolio experiences
- Experience of working in Salesforce
