A vacancy has arisen within our Refrigeration Division for a Key Account Manager - Retail. The role contributes to the success of the Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd Refrigerators and Freezers Division through the delivery of highly developed sales and account management skills. With a passion for targets the role will constantly strive to increase both the client base and sales within accounts whilst ensuring outstanding customer service at all times and working within the Company’s key result areas; Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership.
Your Responsibilities As a Key Account Manager
- To manage a smaller geographical focussed area with dedicated targets for sales and profitability.
- Contribute to the sales growth of Key Retail Accounts (CIH, Sirius amongst others) through effective and pro-active management of the relationship to achieve long-term growth and profitability, thereby consistently achieve value, volume and margin targets.
- Tracking and administering rebates, turnover figures and turnover per account, thereby identifying selling trends per model and per category.
- Works in harmony with the Sales office organisation and other departments to maximise productivity and reduce costs.
- Actively develops a network of customer relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Maintains and develops an excellent relationship with existing clients, establishing regular communication to be able to assess any new requirements.
- Maintains an accurate database of all customer contact details.
- Identifies the opportunity to supervise product demonstrations at selected customer sites so as to facilitate the closing of new business deals.
- Takes the initiative to be involved with trade and consumer shows.
- Represents Liebherr in the correct manner.
- Any other duty as required by management commensurate with the post.
- Create and implement individual business plans with designated customers in line with overall business needs. Whilst understanding each accounts requirement
- Report on account progress monthly, identifying any potential issues whilst delivering suggested solution to grow share.
- Maximise sales performance of each Key Account thorough bespoke promo planning
- Create & deliver regular promotional activity throughout Key Trading Periods
- Effectively coordinate Buying Group Trade Shows, includes both Sirius & CIH
- Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews with each Key Account to effectively grow business share.
Your profile in order to be successful in the Key Account Manager role:
- GCSE passes grades A-C in Mathematics and English
- Able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role or industry
- Full clean driving licence
- Flexible approach to work
