Description:
We are searching for an experienced Junior Womenswear Designer to join our Product & Design Team. Due to the fast growth of Sisters & Seekers, there is a lot of scope for career progression, along with the opportunity to bring innovative ideas and talent to this area.
What you will do:
- Assist with creating new design concepts daily and collate these to present to the Lead Designers/Buying Team for review
- Create detailed CADs and tech-packs for team and supplier use
- Create and regularly update linesheets per collection
- Carry out fit sessions on new development and make comments/adjustments accordingly
- Pattern cutting and photo-type sample creation when necessary
- Liaise with Suppliers and Manufacturers to implement design adjustments and sizing amendments
- Curate linesheets for B2B presentation
- Assist with offering new product lines on a B2B basis with retail partners
- Produce ideas for new product lines and product expansion
- Assist with the development of size ranges across a variety of products
- Assist with collecting, understanding, and suggesting new fabrics and manufacturing techniques
- Create trend boards and provide trend forecasts for the wider creative team
- Assist with repeat pattern and print developments
- Sort and log samples, swatches, and fabrics in an organised manner
- Work under time constraints and to meet deadlines, with the passion and ability to work reactively to the business needs as and when these arise
- Work closely with the wider creative team to ensure designs align with campaign concepts and overall brand ideas
We are looking for someone who has:
- The ability to work on-site at our office HQ.

- Excellent knowledge of the brand and the signature aesthetic
- A creative flair with a unique vision and original ideas
- In depth experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- A good knowledge of manufacturing processes
- A good knowledge of fabrics and trims
- An open mind and “think-out-of-the-box” attitude
- The ability to blend and complete tasks within a team, working together with colleagues to give the best work output possible
- Confidence to develop, present and back your ideas to a group or team, yet finds feedback constructive to develop ideas further
- Effective project management skills and the ability to work on different projects simultaneously
- The ability to significantly contribute to the expansion of Sisters & Seekers range of products
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure/in time-sensitive situations
- A minimum of 1 year experience in Womenswear or Menswear Design, with a graduate level qualification (Fashion Design Degree preferred)
