Junior System Administrator

 

Description:

As a Junior System Administrator/Helpdesk Support Engineer, you will be an integral part of our IT operations team, providing technical assistance and support to our clients.

 

You will play a crucial role in maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems, responding to helpdesk tickets, and ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' infrastructure. This position offers an excellent platform to develop your technical skills and learn from experienced professionals in a hands-on environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
  • Resolve helpdesk tickets promptly and efficiently, ensuring timely and effective communication with users.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Perform routine system monitoring, including verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.

 

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office suite, macOS, or Linux operating systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
