Junior Software Engineer

They are looking for a smart and enthusiastic junior developer to help them evolve their award-winning mobile app development platform, as well as offering technical support to the project delivery team

As a junior software developer, you’ll gain fantastic experience working with a strong team of talented engineers, designers, marketers and commercial visionaries to create game-changing products.

Day-to-day, you’ll be:

• Working in close collaboration with a team of no-code app builders, providing support and bespoke Javascript code on live customer projects.
• Working as part of an established software development team, collaborating on technical solutions, implementation, and code reviews.
• Recording and reporting tasks and bugs using issue management tools.
• Performing independently to complete goals and deliver value.
• Contributing to agile processes such as planning and reviews.
• Presenting ideas in a clear and concise manner.
• Undertaking all parts of development lifecycle from design, implementation, and deployment.
• Keeping up to date with the latest developments in software engineering.
• Passionate and engaged with delivering the very best product possible.

To be considered for this role, you’ll need to have:

• BSc in Computer Science or related degree or related experience
• Good knowledge and understanding of JavaScript
• Experience using web technologies – JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Some knowledge of Java
• Understanding of databases, both SQL and NoSQL
• Understanding of agile development processes
