Description:
This is a partner facing position that will involve regular contact with international stakeholders located across multiple time zones, with occasional travel where applicable. This role will report directly into our Senior Sales Manager.
Your Role Accountabilities…
- Build and maintain relationships with international WB distribution partners
- Discuss business plans with distributors which include unit and revenue targets for new release and catalogue titles
- Ensure the smooth supply of sales information to distribution partners
- Manage retail, trade, and distributor buy prices as well as local distributor margins in conjunction with Senior Sales Manager, to ensure appropriate profitability for WB, competitive street price positioning and appropriate distributor margin.
- Monitor currency fluctuations and their local effects to ensure the above is consistent
- Propose and discuss catalogue price promotional activity to line management
- Monitor new release sales performance actuals versus target, both digital and physical
- Monitor distributor WB software stock levels and flag over & under stocking of key titles
- Liaise with internal marketing teams to maximise local launch activity and promotional windows
- Work with internal and external partners analysing the digital and physical retail business to assist in sales strategy
- Execute special projects and ad hoc reporting/presentations as requested
Qualifications & Experience…
- Proven experience in a partner facing or sales role, ideally in the video games industry
- Interest in and demonstrable knowledge of the video games business
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Proactive self-starter with follow-through skills, able to show initiative and try new things
- Proficiency within Excel and PowerPoint
- Team-spirited and enjoys working in a collaborative environment
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks, work well under time constraints and to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in additional language is preferred
