Description:

As the Junior Manager of Digital Marketing (Catalogue Recordings), your primary role is to be an integral part of BMG’s UK catalogue team, leading innovative digital marketing campaigns and activations. Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing Catalogue, you will manage projects across a diverse array of artists and genres such as rock, hip-hop, pop, and dance music.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and executing digital marketing campaigns, including social media strategies and digital activations.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborating closely with product managers, marketing teams, and global digital teams to ensure alignment in strategies.
  • Leveraging analytics tools like Chartmetric, Tubular, OCC, and Nielsen for insights and planning.
  • Managing creative talents and their online presence while adhering to BMG’s overarching digital strategy.
  • Exploring and utilizing digital advertising opportunities to promote music catalogs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative digital marketing campaigns across social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Reddit.
  • Analyze data using music industry tools to drive decision-making and enhance campaigns.
  • Collaborate with advertising teams and contribute to the creation of engaging digital content.
  • Support global marketing initiatives by sharing insights and best practices.
  • Foster positive relationships with creative talents, management teams, and stakeholders.

Your Profile:

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A deep understanding of popular music history and genres.
  • Technical expertise in digital platforms and tools, including Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere), social media, and analytics tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a practical and detail-oriented approach.
  • Experience working with advertising teams and understanding of advertising best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
