It Project Manager

Description:

The role involves the careful management of; multiple and diverse workstreams, dependencies with other projects, events and activities, distributed project team members, external suppliers, and a wide range of often demanding stakeholders. You will have in-depth knowledge and experience of PRINCE2 and Agile methodologies and be able to confidently operate at all levels of the business.

The IT Project Manager will ideally be based in our Amersham or London office (hybrid working). Some UK Travel to Barnett Waddingham’s other offices will be necessary.

You will ideally have:

• Project Management qualification, together with extensive experience of delivering Software Development projects in a highly regulated and demanding environment, preferably in financial services or for a Software Service provider
• Understanding and working knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Excellent leadership and project management skills
• Excellent technical writing, presentation and negotiation skills
• Experience with change boards
• Development, Cloud and Software experience e.g., PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, asp.NET, Azure, Google Cloud, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, etc
