We are looking for a IT Automation Engineer to join our IT team in Leavesden.
What you'll do:
- Identify and explore opportunities for service and business improvement. Drive the analysis, identification, prioritisation and implementation of improvements and efficiencies, thereby ensuring that the organisation derives maximum value from services.
- Uses a modern standard (DevOps, etc.) approach throughout automation and testing. Strong understanding of the most appropriate modern standards and practices.
- Use agreed process and standards to design, create, test, and amend automation implementation.
- Redevelop and migrate legacy automated processes into Microsoft Azure complying with best practice.
- Review integrations and applications and develop changes based on business needs.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Have strong knowledge on PowerShell script, C# (.NET framework and Core), SQL, Rest API.
- Excellent configuration management and development skills in an orchestration tool like System Centre Orchestrator.
- Strong knowledge on Azure automation components such as Runbook, Logic Apps and Function Apps.
- In-depth knowledge of all DevOps practises with a focus on current automation technologies and how to apply them.
- Cloud and on-prem automation.
