Description:
As part of the investment management team, you will be involved in:
- Sourcing and executing acquisitions of standing assets and forward fundings within the UK
- Raising new sources of debt and equity whilst managing the REIT's existing capital structure
- Undertaking in-depth market research to ensure accurate access to market data, formulate investment strategies and spot trends in the PBSA market ahead of the curve
- Liaising with valuers, lawyers and other key advisers
- Work closely with Asset Management, Development, Operations, and Finance functions to ensure the highest investment performance across the investment life cycle
- Preparing and delivering reports and timely analysis to the Board
- Ad-hoc analyses for the Senior Management team
As part of the development management team, you will be involved in:
- Sourcing new development site acquisition opportunities across both PBSA and City Living
- Appraising and underwriting deals, writing Investment Committee papers, and presenting opportunities to the Board
- Collaborating with the development and operational management teams (when applicable) to make informed underwriting decisions
- Negotiating sale and purchase agreements, raising development finance, setting up corporate structures to hold the properties and managing the construction process
- Reporting progress to the Board and monitoring the development from land acquisition to completion and beyond
