An opportunity has arisen for an Internal Sales Executive to join us at Midland Lead, an award-winning, Family-run lead sheet manufacturer that offers a comprehensive range of products to both national and independent building and roofing merchants. Along with a salary up to £27,500 per annum, you will also receive a company bonus scheme, up to 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays), sick pay, training and development opportunities, and a wellbeing package including life assurance, a Costco membership card, nutritionist advice, mental health support, team building activities, and onsite parking.As Internal Sales Executive at Midland Lead, your responsibilities will include:
 

  • Speaking to customers on the telephone, pro-actively seeking new business by targeting a combination of existing and prospective customers by utilising CRM and sales information;
  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales and after-sales service;
  • Developing long-standing customer relationships - assessing customer needs and providing solutions;
  • Achieving KPIs on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis;
  • Working alongside external teams to meet KPIs within your designated area to meet with budget expectations;
  • Providing suggestions for future marketing campaigns and customer promotions;
  • Collaborating with the team to provide feedback on market activities and provide recommendations on improving all customer related activities;
  • Liaising with the Production and Finance teams;
  • Ensuring all phone calls, emails and fax requests are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
     

At Midland Lead, we’re looking for an Internal Sales Executive with the following:
 

  • Excellent telephone communication skills with the confidence and ability to chat with customers to build rapport and create sales opportunities;
  • Excellent customer management skills;
  • Ability to prospect, negotiate and close deals, and have a basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices;
  • Excellent internal account management skills, including customer service and internal support;
  • Basic computer literacy and keyboards skills.
