Internal Sales Executive

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Internal Sales Executive to work on behalf of our client in Sheffield and play a pivotal role in promoting and selling their engineering steel product range.

Their extensive range of engineering steels caters to diverse applications, making them a reliable and trusted partner in the industry.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Proactively engage with existing and potential clients via phone, email, and other communication channels to promote engineering steel products.

· Identify new business opportunities through cold calling and market research.

· Understand and assess customer needs, providing technical knowledge and recommendations to match their requirements.

· Prepare and present quotes and proposals, negotiating terms and pricing to achieve sales targets.

· Maintain and update customer databases with accurate information on interactions, orders, and feedback.

· Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and contribute to sales strategy development.

· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitors to remain a industry expert.

· Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

· Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics to ensure smooth order processing and timely deliveries.

 

Requirements:

 

· Proven experience as an Internal Sales Executive in engineering steels

· Strong technical knowledge of engineering steels and their applications.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.

· Demonstrated sales acumen and a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

· Organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

· Proficient in using CRM software and other sales-related tools.

· A team player who can also work independently and take initiative when needed.

· Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.

· Located in or willing to relocate to Sheffield, UK.
