Description:
Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager, the position exists to ensure that all price enquiries are dealt with in line with agreed service levels and proactive sales calls are made to “sell” the range of products within the portfolio.
Additional responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to:
- To respond to customer pricing enquiries ensuring that they are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner, whilst maximising margin opportunities for the business
- Develop and maintain regular contact with new and existing customers in order to develop strong relationships, ensure repeat business from accounts & support commercial targets
- Using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensure leads generated are actively tracked, enquiries/quotes are logged, & projects specified are converted from tender stage to contractor award
- Proactively manage customer quotations, effective tracking of live quotations as well as cold calling prospective new customers in order to achieve target quote conversion rates by product
- Support the resolution of commercial related customer complaints to ensure timely &, wherever possible, amicable solutions are reached to the satisfaction of both parties
- Ensure that operations, including those undertaken on the Company’s behalf by third party service providers, are conducted in a manner that fully complies with health and safety, quality, environmental and corporate policies
