Description:
This is a brand new role to the business due to an ongoing transformation where there is huge opportunity to help build and define the centralised comms infrastructure and inspire the business through an effective communications strategy.
They are looking for an experienced internal comms manager with experience with tech who has worked in global roles and is happy to be hands-on as well as strategic.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a detailed review of current internal and external communication practices, tools, and channels.
- Assess the effectiveness of existing communication strategies, pinpointing gaps and areas for enhancement.
- Comprehend the potential of our current setup and determine areas where we could maximise the use of existing tools.
- Formulate a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives, inclusive of all our regions.
- Aid in developing the organisation's tone of voice and communication principles.
- Devise a roadmap for the introduction of new communication channels, processes, and tools, ensuring automation and scalability are prioritised.
- Establish a centralised communications calendar.
- Boost communication capability and confidence by offering training and support to leaders and employees on new communication tools and protocols.
- Create change management toolkits and training materials.
- Develop metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and infrastructure, ensuring every channel provides data.
Experience Required:
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful internal communication and engagement strategies.
- Experience in communication within transformational change environments.
- Worked within a global organisation encompassing multiple regions and time zones.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Teams.
- Experience delivering communications in a technology business.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders
