Intermediate Full Stack Software Engineer

Description:

The role is an intermediate full stack engineer position in the software engineering team. We built the platform from the ground up and constantly invest in keeping components and technologies up to date. The stack consists of:

• Python-based microservice architecture running on Google Cloud Platform
• Apollo.js GraphQL layer
• React.js web applications
• React Native mobile applications
• Cloud Postgres and Google Big Query datastores
• Google PubSub and MQTT messaging
• Terraform infrastructure orchestration
• Fully containerised platform running on Kubernetes, deployed using helm
• CI/CD via CircleCI and Helmfile (server) and Bitrise (mobile)
• Error reporting using DataDog

Responsibilities

• Brainstorming system architectures with the rest of the dev team
• Designing and implementing Python-based microservice architecture components
• Designing and implementing React-based web user interfaces
• Writing unit and integration tests
• Investigating and debugging issues raised in any environment
• Contributing to weekly sprint planning
• A hands on intermediate developer who can find elegant solution for complex problems
