Description:
This role will involve implementing and developing an integration layer utilizing the Azure technology stack and industry best practices to ensure high-quality products are delivered. While the primary focus will be on LIMS integration, there may be opportunities to work on other state-of-the-art integrations and APIs as well.
This position is remote with occasional travel to various offices as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions and integrations (API's) to meet identified business needs, with a primary focus on integrating our central application(s) with various LIMS tools.
- Present effectively, multitask, and prioritize workload effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Communicate effectively with technical, business, operations, and support teams, utilizing specialist knowledge to engage stakeholders appropriately.
- Identify improvements to current processes and evaluate technology solutions to meet business needs.
- Utilize techniques and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct testing and validation of systems and integrations to ensure reliability and functionality.
- Provide technical and end-user support for systems, collaborating with other IT teams as necessary.
- Deliver high-quality customer service both face-to-face and remotely.
- Create technical and end-user support documentation to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents, problems, and requests recorded through the help desk system, meeting target service levels.
- Develop and maintain peer networks internally and externally to stay informed about the business and current industry standards.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a Computer Science related subject (preferably).
- Proficiency in software development, including experience with .NET, C#, and high knowledge of database structures (e.g., SQL).
- Experience with Azure technologies, such as logic apps, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Functions.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and migration, particularly DevOps pipelines including YAML and Bicep is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
- Familiarity with laboratory or inspection environments is a plus
