Inside Sales Specialist

 

Description:

To accomplish overall growth, the inside sales representative works closely with outside sales to develop new business and manage existing business with assigned countries/customers; the inside sales representative is essential to reaching our goals for revenue development and customer acquisition.

 

  • Oversee and plan sales initiatives, such as prospecting, lead creation, and customer follow-ups.
  • Establish a solid working rapport with current import customers.
  • Provide accurate information about our services, costs, and delivery alternatives in response to consumer requests.
  • Keep track of all new business prospects, sales leads, estimates, and negotiations, and work to successfully close them in a day or less.
  • Provide precise import quotes for inquiries made by road, air, or sea.
  • Discuss ocean freight costs with foreign brokers.
  • Discuss import haulage charges with shipping lines.
  • Getting in touch with the commercial team and internal operations as needed.
  • Helping out outside sales representatives as needed.
