An exciting opportunity has arisen for a collaborative professional with knowledge and insight into working across organisational boundaries and different sectors to deliver innovation and patient benefit through the power of partnership.

Key to the delivery of MFT’s innovation ambitions is collaborating with external partnerships from across different sectors to help drive new innovation activity predicated on commercial partnership. To support this we will deploy a program of initiatives to multiply our partnerships as the collaborator of choice for industry, charity and third sector organisations.

Partnership working is embedded across the Innovation Team and related NIHR infrastructure, such that it will become integral into the way we work, fostering entrepreneurial and innovative thinking and building a thriving innovation community.

The Innovation Partnerships Manager will provide comprehensive, high quality business development and relationship management support for Innovation Team and drive key aspects of the Innovation strategy.

The role would suit an individual with demonstrable experience of working at the NHS/ clinical academic and industry interface to identify, develop and deliver new opportunities.

Reporting to the Innovation and Partnerships Lead, the Partnerships manager will be a key member of the Innovation team, working across the Trust’s hospitals and Managed Clinical Services, linking with Innovation leads on commercial strategy delivery. The role will be essential in building and driving links to key external stakeholders including academic, industry, charity, funders, and other third party organisations to leverage collaborative work and further investment.
