Job Responsibilities

 

  • Act as a SME authority for the core technologies, with emphasis on User experience, security, and management of desktops, laptops, VMs. Focus on security patching and large-scale deployments to all endpoints and manage the compliance threshold.
  • Partner with the engineering team in the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions for systems and end-user platforms
  • Be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation (SOPs, standards, how-to, BCP/DR) for services deployed and run by the team
  • Be responsible for on-going maintenance of Infrastructure services such as new version upgrades, apply patches and policies, implement configurations and solutions engineered by teams
  • Be responsible to provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to L3 and L2 teams
  • Agile project delivery
  • Manage the Tier 4 escalations from outages, deployments, BAU issues reported from L2, L3
  • Identify patterns of issues and work with engineering on automating global fixes
  • Implement and support innovative solutions and processes developed by Desktop Engineering to continuously improve services and technologies
  • Responsible for maintaining design documents in accordance with standards
  • Implement projects to improve the user experience, security, and management of desktops, laptops, VM and tablets.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

 

Job Requirements

 

Job Requirements:

 

  • Windows and MAC OS knowledge
  • Working knowledge of SCCM/MECM, JAMF for large scale patching and deployments, implementing policies
  • Working knowledge on vulnerability remediation for OS, Office Suite, Browsers, System files and software.
  • Added advantage for basic experience in languages: C#, PowerShell or Python for Development, scripting and automation
  • Working knowledge in any of the vulnerability scanning tools : Nessus, BigFix, Flexera
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of ITIL process or other IT service management frameworks
  • Added advantage on any reporting and monitoring tools, such as ControlUp. Splunk or similar data analysis tools
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum6-8 years of enterprise-level experience
  • Continuous two-way communications and engage with Engineering teams to review technology roadmaps, enhancements, and upgrades
  • Knowledge of vulnerability and patch management process, working knowledge of Nessus or any other vulnerability scanning tool.
