Infrastructure Director

Description:

Pegasus Group is looking for an Infrastructure Director to establish and lead a new Civil Engineering Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will support the growth of a diverse portfolio of clients across the UK, with a focus on civil engineering infrastructure design, strategic decision-making, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage civil engineering infrastructure design services and guidance.

• Oversee local operations, ensuring business growth through strategic decision-making and collaboration.

• Promote the success of the Transport & Infrastructure Business through the expansion of the talent pool and localized services.

• Develop and implement growth strategies and business development plans.

• Manage and deliver high-quality design services for both private and adoptable works.

• Ensure compliance with legal, planning, technical consent, and adoption processes.

• Drive new business opportunities and identify areas for growth.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional body.

• 12-15 years of post-graduate experience in civil engineering infrastructure.

• Proven ability to win work in a consultancy or private sector development environment.

• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to develop business and contribute to growth plans.

• Expertise in delivering civil engineering infrastructure for both planning and construction purposes.

• Knowledge of legal, planning, technical consent, and adoption processes.

• Effective communication and organisational skills, with a collaborative approach.

• Proactive, strategic, and analytical mindset.
