Infrastructure Architect

Description:

Fujitsu is looking for an Infrastructure Architect to join their Defence and National Security business in Bracknell (Hybrid). This role involves designing infrastructure solutions, responding to change requests, mentoring colleagues, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Microsoft, VMware, operational monitoring, backup, and security solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Design and implement infrastructure solutions to meet stringent security requirements.
✔ Collaborate with subject matter experts to integrate solutions with existing systems.
✔ Mentor and guide team members in elevating their technological skills.
✔ Provide technical expertise during testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
✔ Develop and maintain documentation, including architectural diagrams and technical guides.
✔ Stay updated on emerging technologies, best practices, and trends for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

✅ Experience in designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure, including operational monitoring and backup solutions.
✅ Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting for automation.
✅ Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, or benchmarks.
✅ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with keen attention to detail.
✅ Ability to work in an Agile team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
✅ Relevant certifications (highly desirable).
✅ Eligibility for UK security vetting (ideally to DV level).
